samberg_yo_gabba_gabbaThe Emmy nominated show Yo Gabba Gabba! will ring in its third season Oct. 12 on the Nick Jr. network with musical guests The Roots! And if that wasn’t enough to make us grown-up kids jealous, Andy Samberg and indie musicians MGMT will be guests on the Oct. 13 episode! This makes my beloved Fraggle Rock look kinda puny in comparison.

Samberg’s episode, entitled “Art” will teach kids how to mix paint colors and Samberg will give instructions on how to do the “Alligator Chomp” and “Dancey Dance” dances. You better believe my DVR will be set for this. The picture alone has provided me with thirty minutes of entertainment!

This super hip preschool show is no stranger to adult friendly act. During the last two seasons, guests have included Elijah Wood, Jack Black, Tony Hawk, Of Montreal and The Shins. Not too shabby, huh?

Slightly reminiscent of Puff and Stuff and Witchypoo, but I like it…and Dancey Dance sounds like something I need to learn how to do…
